Balloons Over New Mexico with Canyon Calling! The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta each October is an event that draws thousands from all corners of the globe. Mass ascensions of hundreds of colorful balloons are truly once-in-a-lifetime sights to behold.
Land of 10,000 lakes (more actually but Minnesotans don’t like to brag) and known as the Land of Sky Blue Water, Minnesota is a fall foliage and outdoor enthusiast’s playground. At the southwestern tip of Lake Superior sits Duluth, home to the world’s largest freshwater inland port.
Canyon Calling is wild about Wyoming! The spirit of the west is alive and well in Jackson, our base for this adventure. Hiking in the Tetons rewards us with inspirational views and maybe a moose or two. We’ll see bald eagles while floating down the Snake River before white water rafting the gorge. Sea kayaking on Jackson Lake is pure serenity and our horse ride outside Jackson is an iconic western experience.
The Rocky Mountains of Idaho are perfectly suited to Canyon Calling’s multi-activity vacations. Idaho is known as the Gem State because of the wealth of natural resources extracted over the years. However we think that the real gems are the rivers and mountains. Our white-water rafting trip on the Payette River is one of the best rafting trips in the US.
