Stewart Island is one of those places that you think, "oooh I'd love to go there one day," well, now you can! We'll be exploring the local area around Oban on some of the many delightful walks. We'll be going on a guided walk over to Ulva Island - bird and marine sanctuary.
If you've always wanted to go to this unique art deco extravaganza then now is your chance! Dress up in all the 1930's gear, swing those beads, kick up your heels and join in the fun! Known as one of New Zealand’s classic hikes, this 29 km walk is a unique hike through private land that follows farmland and forest, over an extinct volcano, along coasts and cliffs, through reserves and into your hosts backyards. It is 29 km of ever changing vistas, views and variety around the stunning Banks Peninsula. At the end of the track we stay the night in the quaint historic French and British settlement of Akaroa before going to Little River, meeting our bicycles there and cycling the Little River Trail for approximately 46km into Prebbleton where we catch a shuttle van to the airport.
Join us as we kayak in double sea kayaks in the beautiful Hauraki Gulf, stopping off to explore different islands as we go. We leave from St Heliers heading for Motuihe Island, stopping off at Browns Island on the way for a walk to the trig, lunch on the beach and a swim. We then continue kayaking over to Motuihe Island where we set up camp for the night.
Come explore and enjoy all the delights of this beautiful island in the Hauraki Gulf. We'll be catching the 10am ferry, then doing a Hop On Hop Off bus tour of the island stopping off and exploring walkways and beaches, and vineyards for wine tastings and for lunch and so the weekend continues...
This unique cycling adventure will take us 200km around the beautiful coastal road of Savaii staying at stunning locations along the way. You will start with a relaxing day at a beautiful beach fale resort on Upolu before starting the cycle journey the next day. There will be 7 days of cycling plus one rest day along the way. Your gear will be transported each day and a support van will be with you with fruit and water.
